Hoboken Mayor Proposes Scaled-Back Redevelopment Plan

Law360, New York (September 6, 2012, 1:20 PM EDT) -- Hoboken, N.J., Mayor Dawn Zimmer presented the City Council with a 2-million-square-foot mixed-use redevelopment plan for downtown property owned by New Jersey Transit late Wednesday, offering a significantly smaller alternative to NJ Transit's own mixed-use proposal for the space.

The project, known as the Hoboken Yard Redevelopment Plan, would repurpose the Hoboken Terminal and Rail Yard area for office, residential and retail use.
