11th Circ. Revives Suit Against Carnival Over Gun Death

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 7:08 PM EDT) -- The Eleventh Circuit on Wednesday reversed a lower court's dismissal of a wrongful death suit against Carnival Corp., ruling that the cruise line operator must face failure to warn and emotional distress claims brought by family members of a woman who encountered gang violence during a Caribbean vacation.
