Judge Delays Sentencing For AUO, Execs In LCD Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (September 6, 2012, 5:56 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday agreed to delay sentencing for AU Optronics Corp. and two of its executives following their convictions of price-fixing, overruling the prosecution's request that the court stick to its scheduled Sept. 14 hearing.

U.S. District Judge Susan Illston yielded to AUO's request to postpone the hearing, though the judge pushed sentencing back to only Sept. 20, rather than the end of the month like the Taiwan-based liquid crystal display panel maker had wanted.
