Jenner & Block Lands DHS Privacy Chief To Help Build Practice

Law360, New York (September 10, 2012, 4:22 PM EDT) -- Jenner & Block LLP announced last week that former U.S. Department of Homeland Security Chief Privacy Officer Mary Ellen Callahan has joined its Washington, D.C., office to head up the firm’s new privacy and information governance practice group.

Callahan, who joined the Department of Homeland Security in March 2009 as head of its privacy office, will oversee the buildup of Jenner & Block’s fledgling privacy and information governance practice, part of the firm’s litigation department.
