SBA Looks To Raise Size Standards For 11 Industries

Law360, New York (September 11, 2012, 4:10 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Small Business Administration on Tuesday proposed to increase the maximum size standards for businesses in the agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting industries.

Following an economic analysis, the agency determined that 11 industries merited increases to their size standards, while four industries and two sub-industries deserved decreases. However, given the difficult economic times, the SBA opted to only seek the increases, according to a notice in the Federal Register.
