DOD Must Improve Contract Planning, Lawmakers Told

Law360, New York (September 12, 2012, 10:46 PM EDT) -- The U.S. military has done a better job incorporating contractors into its strategic plans during the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, but it must improve training and initial planning to avoid repeating the mistakes and failed oversight that plagued contract spending early in those wars, witnesses told a House panel Wednesday.
