NY Rep. Called 'Corrupt' By Ethics Group Amid Finance Probe

Law360, New York (September 12, 2012, 6:38 PM EDT) -- Rep. Michael Grimm, the first-term Republican congressman from Staten Island whose campaign fund-raising activities are being investigated by a federal grand jury, was named one of the "most corrupt" members of Congress on Wednesday by a Washington-based ethics watchdog.

As he raised money for his 2010 campaign, Grimm was in league with the now-jailed Ofer Biton, an Israeli functionary of a noted New York City rabbi, according to the report by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.
