CityTime Kickback Trial Postponed For Pile Of New Evidence

Law360, New York (September 13, 2012, 5:24 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Thursday delayed a criminal trial over an alleged kickback scheme involving the CityTime payroll project, after prosecutors said they had obtained reams of new evidence from the abandoned office of a subcontractor charged in the case.

U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels agreed to move the trial date from January 2013 to September 2013 to give the defendants more time to review the evidence. It includes about 100 laptops and memory sticks taken by federal investigators from the deserted office...
