Pentagon Says Sequestration Impacts Will Linger For Years

Law360, New York (September 20, 2012, 9:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Defense told lawmakers Thursday that sequestration will have long-lasting impacts that could hamstring modernization efforts and interfere with thousands of contracts, in a last-ditch plea with congressional leaders to undo the pending automatic budget cuts sets to take effect in January.
