Zynga Says EA Tried To Strike Anti-Poaching Deal

Law360, New York (September 14, 2012, 10:26 PM EDT) -- Zynga Inc. on Friday accused Electronic Arts Inc. of trying to work out a deal not to snatch its employees following EA's accusations that Zynga's Facebook Inc. game "The Ville" infringed EA’s copyright for "The Sims Social,” according to Friday news reports.

The San Francisco-based social network gaming company claimed in a California federal court filing that EA CEO John Riccitiello had attempted to strike an agreement to keep Zynga from hiring its employees, the Wall Street Journal reported.
