Former NJ Transportation Official Cops To Bribery Charge

Law360, New York (September 17, 2012, 7:35 PM EDT) -- A former engineer with the New Jersey Department of Transportation pled guilty Monday to pocketing a $24,000 bribe from a contractor to help secure approval for $300,000 in change orders from a federally funded road construction project.

Appearing before U.S. District Judge Joel A. Pisano in Trenton federal court on Monday, Kenneth Huber, 64, of Budd Lake, N.J., copped to one count of soliciting and accepting the $24,000 bribe.
