'Rohan' Duck Not Afoul Of 'Lord Of The Rings' IP: Food Co.

Law360, New York (September 18, 2012, 6:42 PM EDT) -- A luxury foods company on Thursday asked a New Jersey federal court to absolve it of trademark abuse allegations leveled by the owner of a series of marks related to the “Lord Of The Rings” books, saying its line of prepared duck products is not being confused with a mark associated with the fantasy novels.
