Avis Can't Ditch Class Action Over Reward Program Fee

Law360, New York (September 19, 2012, 5:11 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday denied Avis Rent A Car System LLC’s bid to squash a proposed class action that alleges the company wrongly dings consumers with a 75-cent surcharge through its travel partner reward program, saying the plaintiff had adequately pled his claims.
