Roche Picks NY Over NJ For New Research Center Location

Law360, New York (September 20, 2012, 6:09 PM EDT) -- In a blow to New Jersey, drugmaker Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. announced Thursday that it had selected a New York City location for a major new clinical research center, rather than a site pushed by Garden State officials.

Roche said in a statement that it has brokered an 11-year lease at the Alexandria Center for Life Science in Manhattan for its Translational Clinical Research Center and will move staff to the new site at the end of 2013, once the Alexandria complex's 421,000-square-foot West Tower is complete....
