Promoter Can't Toss Settlement In Paula Deen Contract Row

Law360, New York (September 21, 2012, 3:12 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Friday declined to nix a settlement in a contract spat between celebrity chef Paula Deen and an event promoter over a canceled nationwide tour, after the promoter said the agreement had been reached without his consent.
