Hawaiian Co. Sues Air Force Over In-Sourced Contract

Law360, New York (September 24, 2012, 9:13 PM EDT) -- A Hawaiian company sued the Air Force on Monday over an in-sourced personnel management contract, claiming that the military refused to turn over the analysis behind its conclusion that federal employees could perform the work less expensively than the contractor could.

The contractor, Dellew Corp., has held a contract since 2008 to manage Awards and Decorations and Personnel Systems for nine Air Force bases in Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Japan and Korea, according to a complaint filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. In February, the...
