Despite Complaints, FTC Unlikely To Budge On COPPA Rule

Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 8:34 PM EDT) -- Industry members this week blasted the Federal Trade Commission's latest bid to broaden the scope of its children's online privacy rule, including a provision proposed by The Walt Disney Co. that would subject more providers to regulation, but attorneys doubt the regulator will agree to a less restrictive rule.
