3rd Circ. Lets UnitedHealth Reject Chiro Care In ERISA Case

Law360, New York (September 25, 2012, 6:54 PM EDT) -- UnitedHealth Group Inc. on Tuesday won a high-profile endorsement of its right not to cover treatments it deems experimental or medically unnecessary, as the Third Circuit refused to revive a proposed class action challenging reimbursement policies for chiropractic care under employee retirement plans.
