Brazilian Court Tells YouTube To Yank Anti-Islam Video

Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 3:43 PM EDT) -- A Brazilian court on Tuesday banned the online video that has been linked to violent demonstrations across the Muslim world, ordering YouTube LLC to take down clips of the controversial movie within 10 days.

Judge Gilson Delgado Miranda of a state court in Sao Paulo granted an injunction forcing Google Inc.-owned YouTube to remove online video clips of the low-budget film “Innocence of Muslims,” and Google will face fines of about $5,000 per day if it does not comply with the order, according to an announcement...
