FSIA Exception Applies In Austrian Injury Suit: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 5:11 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit held Wednesday that its 2009 ruling on a Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act matter can be applied to lawsuits involving sovereign immunity exceptions that were not explicitly addressed in that ruling, upholding the dismissal of a personal injury suit against an Austrian railway.
