Pesticide Co. Settles Some Claims In Cleanup Wrangle

Law360, New York (October 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pesticide maker FMC Corp., industrial products manufacturer NCH Corp. and the trustees of Princeton University have agreed to toss a lawsuit over who should pay for the cleanup of a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Superfund site.

The three submitted a joint stipulation on Monday, dismissing with prejudice the claims and counterclaims in long-running litigation that has ensnared other parties, including Amoco Oil Co., Dow Jones & Co. Inc., Xerox Corp. and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
