Workers' Comp Bias Rule Doesn't Allow Tort Claims, Court Says

Law360, New York (September 27, 2012, 5:40 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court found Wednesday that a hospital employee cannot bring a common-law wrongful termination suit over alleged violations of a state labor code rule that prevents employers from terminating or discriminating against employees who have filed workers' compensation claims.
