Generics Fight Nifedipine Direct Purchaser Class

Law360, New York (October 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Biovail Corp., Elan Corp. plc and Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd. have opposed certification of a direct purchaser class in the multidistrict litigation a slew of distributors and stores filed against them for allegedly divvying up the market for a generic hypertension drug to keep prices high.
