Allen Family Notches Win In Forgery Suit Over Ranch Deal

Law360, New York (September 27, 2012, 6:30 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday tossed Excelsior Capital LLC's suit accusing the late private investment banker Robert Allen's family of forging his signature and wrongly transferring stakes in a $15 million Arizona ranch, ruling that it failed to state a claim.
