DLA Piper Malpractice Suit Killed By Lack Of Expert Testimony

Law360, New York (October 2, 2012, 1:30 PM EDT) -- DLA Piper on Monday escaped a bankrupt furniture company's $17 million malpractice suit accusing the firm of botching a licensing deal and other legal matters, after a New York federal court adopted DLA Piper's position that its former client had failed to present expert testimony supporting most of its claims.
