Bath & Body Works Will Pay $1.3M To End Managers' Wage Suit

Law360, New York (October 3, 2012, 1:19 PM EDT) -- Bath & Body Works LLC agreed Tuesday to pay up to $1.3 million to settle class claims that it forced managers and co-managers at its California retail stores to prepare employee evaluations and other work reports off-the-clock. 

The deal is intended to compensate approximately 730 employees who either managed or co-managed a Bath & Body Works shop located in the Golden State dating back to 2007, according to the settlement. The managers alleged that in order to keep their jobs, they were required to prepare schedules...
