Calif. Hospital Chain Wins OK On $6M OT Class Deal

Law360, Los Angeles (October 5, 2012, 7:13 PM EDT) -- A California judge gave preliminary approval Friday to a hospital chain’s $6 million class settlement over claims it shorted workers on overtime and breaks, saying further briefing pegging the company’s maximum exposure at $10.5 million resolved concerns about the deal's price tag.
