Meningitis Outbreak Exposes FDA's Oversight Failures

Law360, New York (October 10, 2012, 8:16 PM EDT) -- As a fatal meningitis outbreak sparks calls for increased federal regulation of compounding pharmacies, industry experts say the real problem is not that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration lacks enforcement authority, but that it has failed to make clear when it will use the considerable power it already has.
