Morrison Express Agrees To Pay $4M In Price-Fixing Suit

Law360, New York (October 10, 2012, 9:36 PM EDT) -- Morrison Express Corp. USA and its Singapore affiliate on Wednesday agreed to pay more than $4.4 million to settle antitrust claims in a class action over their role in an alleged price-fixing conspiracy in the international freight forwarding industry.

Morrison and Morrison Express Logistics Pte Ltd. Singapore agreed to cooperate with the prosecution of the case against other companies and to make an initial cash payment of nearly $1.7 million as part of the settlement, according to a memorandum by plaintiffs including Mail Boxes Etc. Inc.,...
