Toys 'R' Us, Yo-Yo Co. Trodding On Marks, Hells Angels Say

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 7:33 PM EDT) -- Hells Angels Motorcycle Corp. sued Toys “R” Us Inc. and yo-yo manufacturer Yomega Corp. in California federal court Wednesday, accusing them of infringing the motorcycle club's "death head" trademarks.

The Hells Angels accuse Massachusetts-based Yomega of designing, manufacturing and selling yo-yos that feature a knockoff of the biker organization's mark and Toys “R” Us of selling the infringing yo-yos.

“From decades of notoriety, the HAMC Death Head Mark has acquired very widespread public recognition; consequently it evokes strong and immediate reactions whenever used,” the complaint said....
