Toyota Forum-Shopping Brake Defect Suit, Hybrid Owners Say

Law360, Los Angeles (October 11, 2012, 9:47 PM EDT) -- An attorney representing consumers who claim Toyota sold them hybrid vehicles with defective brakes told the Ninth Circuit on Thursday that the automaker's bid to arbitrate the claims under the terms of the sales contracts after failing to get the case dismissed amounted to "transparent forum-shopping."
