WTC Antenna Being Held For $6M 'Ransom': Port Authority

Law360, New York (October 15, 2012, 6:47 PM EDT) -- The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey filed suit Friday in New York state court alleging that the steel contractor supplying materials for the iconic antenna at 1 World Trade Center is holding the metal "ransom" for a payment of nearly $6 million.  

The Port Authority claims the tower cannot open without the antenna, and asked the court to force ADF Steel Corp. to deliver the materials, accusing ADF — which it says it will not send the steel until it receives payments...
