CareCore Resolves NY Medical Imaging Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (October 15, 2012, 5:56 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Monday signed off on the voluntary dismissal of a long-running suit alleging that CareCore National LLC harmed competition in the market for diagnostic imaging by entering restrictive contracts with several leading health insurers.

U.S. District Judge Warren W. Eginton approved a stipulated dismissal of the antitrust suit against CCN, in which Medical Diagnostic Imaging PLLC, a Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based business that provides outpatient diagnostic imaging, alleged that CCN and others conspired to restrain competition in the imaging market.
