Texas Energy Co. Loses Bid To Condemn Land For Wind Project

Law360, New York (October 16, 2012, 5:23 PM EDT) -- A Texas state judge on Monday blocked Lone Star Transmission Co.'s bid to construct part of a major wind power transmission line on a West Texas ranch, ruling condemnation of the land would interfere with a proposed airport.
