Nacio Systems Trade Secrets Suit Sent To Arbitration

Law360, New York (October 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former employee at Nacio Systems Inc. accused of stealing trade secrets, trampling a copyright and competing unfairly has successfully removed the Internet services company's lawsuit against him to arbitration, as was provided for in an employment contract that was later terminated.

Judge Phyllis Hamilton of the U.S. District Court of Northern California on Friday granted Herbert Gottlieb's motion to stay the case and send it to arbitration, casting aside Nacio's argument that the contract no longer applied because the alleged misconduct happened after the company...
