Supreme Court Refuses To Hear Armstrong Appeal

Law360, New York (October 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former trader and financial adviser Martin Armstrong, who is currently serving time in prison for a $1 billion fraud, will not get the chance to argue against a contempt conviction that added seven years to his sentence, after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear his appeal.

The court denied Armstrong's case on Monday, bringing an end to Armstrong's fight against the contempt conviction, the sentence for which he has already served.
