IHS Lacks Standing To Contest BAE Air Force Contract

Law360, New York (October 18, 2012, 4:16 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Federal Claims tossed an IHS Global Inc. suit seeking to block the U.S. Air Force's award of a sole-source contract to BAE Systems, finding IHS can't challenge the deal since it isn't able to properly service the contract, according to an opinion unsealed Wednesday.

Judge Thomas C. Wheeler granted motions from the Air Force and BAE to dismiss the action for lack of subject matter jurisdiction, ruling that IHS lacks standing to bring the case.
