Sandusky Appeals Child Molestation Conviction

Law360, New York (October 18, 2012, 9:08 PM EDT) -- Former Penn State assistant football coach and convicted pedophile Jerry Sandusky on Thursday appealed his conviction, saying the prosecution’s evidence was insufficient and that his attorneys did not have enough time to prepare for trial.

Sandusky, who was sentenced last week to 30 to 60 years in prison after his June conviction on 45 counts of child molestation, is seeking to overturn the verdict or obtain a new trial.
