Robert Half's $19M Settlement Of OT Class Action Gets OK

By Zach Winnick (October 19, 2012, 5:05 PM EDT) -- A Los Angeles judge on Friday preliminarily approved Robert Half International Inc.'s $19 million settlement with a class of 4,000 recruiters and other professionals who claim the staffing company failed to pay overtime and provide meal and rest breaks, among other labor law violations.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mary H. Strobel's ruling marked the beginning of the end of three related class actions raising claims that Robert Half had since 2000 violated Golden State labor laws in its treatment of thousands of workers.
