FINRA Fills Industry Seats On Board Of Governors

Law360, New York (October 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the new self-regulatory organization for all securities brokers and dealers doing business in the United States, has elected representatives to fill the seats on its board of governors designated for industry members.

Ballots were cast Friday at FINRA's first annual meeting. The seven new governors, who represent a variety of securities firms, will serve three year terms on the board. The newly-elected industry members fill the remaining slots on FINRA's board of governors.
