Guidant Pushes US To Prove FCA Claims Aren't Resolved

Law360, New York (October 22, 2012, 7:10 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government has failed to refute Boston Scientific Corp. unit Guidant LLC's contention that the parties previously settled more than 40 percent of allegedly fraudulent Medicare claims for defective cardiac implants that make up a $726 million whistleblower lawsuit, the company said Monday.
