Housing Group Broadens BofA Discrimination Claims

Law360, New York (October 23, 2012, 10:41 PM EDT) -- The National Fair Housing Alliance on Tuesday expanded its complaint against Bank of America Corp. over the bank's alleged discrimination against minority neighborhoods in the maintenance and marketing of foreclosed homes.

The amended complaint to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development accuses the bank of taking better care of foreclosed homes in predominantly white neighborhoods than in black and Latino neighborhoods in Chicago, Milwaukee and Indianapolis.
