NY Hospital Pays $7M To Settle Medicaid Billing Suit

Law360, New York (October 25, 2012, 3:20 PM EDT) -- New York's Westchester Medical Center on Wednesday agreed to pay $7 million to settle an employee's whistleblower allegations that it defrauded Medicaid by billing the program for millions of dollars for outpatient services at its mental health center without core documentation required by Medicaid regulations.
