Texas High Court Again Snubs Shell, Amoco Arbitration Appeal

Law360, New York (October 26, 2012, 5:01 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday declined a second time to hear an arbitration award challenge by affiliates of BP Amoco PLC and Shell Oil Co. in their dispute with Occidental Petroleum Corp. over environmental liabilities from a $3.75 billion sale of oil and gas rights.
