Kasowitz Drops Financier Suing Dakota For Discrimination

Law360, New York (October 30, 2012, 10:16 PM EDT) -- Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP on Friday reportedly asked to withdraw from New York financier Alphonse Fletcher's discrimination suit against Manhattan apartment building The Dakota over fees left unpaid by Fletcher and his bankrupt hedge fund.

In a motion filed in New York Supreme Court, Kasowitz asked to withdraw from the case, citing fees owed by Fletcher and his hedge fund Fletcher Asset Management Inc., according to a Sunday report by the Wall Street Journal.
