2 In Federal Zoloft MDL Want Case Kicked Back To Calif.

Law360, Philadelphia (October 30, 2012, 1:51 PM EDT) -- Two plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation over alleged birth defects from the prenatal use of Zoloft asked a Pennsylvania federal judge to remand their case to California state court Monday, contending that a California distributor of the drug should be joined to the case.

Stephanie and William Randall argued that in addition to Pfizer Inc., which manufactured the drug, distributor McKesson Corp. was also aware of the dangers stemming from the use of the antidepressant during pregnancy.
