Calif. Court Rejects Sprint’s Arbitration Bid In Fees Suit

Law360, San Diego (October 30, 2012, 10:21 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Monday affirmed the denial of a bid by a Sprint Nextel Corp. unit to compel individual arbitration of class claims alleging it improperly charged early termination fees in light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s AT&T Mobility LLC v. Concepcion decision, finding a lower court on remand was restricted to reviewing issues that didn't include arbitration.
