American Pilots Say AMR Could Seal Deal By Giving Ground

Law360, New York (October 30, 2012, 10:16 PM EDT) -- The Allied Pilots Association on Tuesday indicated that a labor agreement with American Airlines Inc. could be just days away if the airline and its bankrupt parent, AMR Corp., are willing to cede some ground.

The union said in a statement that during the current round of negotiations it has sought improvements from the airline’s previous offer and reiterated its desire to see American Airlines pilots compensated on the same level as those working for Delta Air Lines Inc.
