6th Circ. Lets Philips Off Hook In Retiree Benefits Dispute

Law360, New York (October 31, 2012, 6:48 PM EDT) -- The Sixth Circuit said Wednesday that a Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV unit hadn't violated a collective bargaining agreement by refusing to provide a putative class of retirees lifetime health insurance, finding there was nothing in the contract granting the benefits.
