Sprint Dealer Agrees To Pay $2.5M In FLSA Class Actions

Law360, New York (November 1, 2012, 3:09 PM EDT) -- Sprint phone dealer Wireless Lifestyle Inc. has agreed to pay $2.5 million to settle claims brought by retail sales associates and other employees alleging the company violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and state labor laws.

U.S. District Judge Ortrie D. Smith preliminarily approved a settlement agreement Wednesday in which Wireless Lifestyle and its parent company, Pasha Distribution Corp., agreed to pay up to $2.5 million to resolve wage and hour claims brought in five separate proposed class actions.
